This article annotates all new features and fixes for MControl 2.9.1000. MControl - 2-9-1000 is the release version and includes all the fixes/features of the 2.9.0000 version series.
2.9.1000 (February 2012) RELEASE VERSION
Features:
- Defaults lag time to 0.1 minutes if there is no lag time and does the same for lag strokes in pump strokes mode. [MC-16]
- Remote Zero mode added to Alarms tab in setup menu with instructional dialogs. [MC-24 ]
- Displays a pop-up dialog when the log file reaches 85%, 90%, 95%, and 99% full. [MC-11]
- Project file dialog "OK" button now linked to ALT + O keystroke.
- Chromat records 0 and 1 are now populated upon project creation.
- Changed the icon color scheme to "Black and Gold" to match RG's color scheme.
- Added a Manage Wireless option under the Help menu. [MC-34]
- The title bar now displays whether the MLogger is in 1%=100 units or 1%=50 units mode. [MC-12]
Fixes:
- Record 0 bug - fixed largely in part of the new population of chromat record 0 and 1 feature. [MC-10]

- WITS tracks now display properly. [MC-21]
- Setting lag for a WITS track no longer causes a crash. [MC-21]
- Exporting a lagged WITS track no longer causes a crash. [MC-21]
- Logger and Observer passwords are now authenticated before establishing a connection to the MLogger. [MC-23]
- Default lag value will prevent the exporting without lag bug - fixed by default lag of 0.1 minutes feature. [MC-16]
- WITS tracks no longer take a long time to register a change in value. [MC-20]
- Many problematic/unnecessary menu options have been hidden or disabled (i.e. Surface Lagging). [MC-26]
- Removed the COpenFTP error dialog when connecting to a box via proxy. [MC-33]
- Links in the Tools and Help menus now work properly on 32-bit and 64-bit Windows. [MC-30]
- Scrolling up on a first time connection no longer goes all the way back to 1970. [MC-29]
- % exports no longer get halved while in 1% = 50 units mode and ppm/units exports DO get halved while in 1% = 50 units mode. [MC-9]
- Aux track offsets and lag can now be set. [MC-36]

2.9.0006 (February 1 2012)
- Changed the M icon color scheme to make it easier to see on darker backgrounds. It still follows the RG theme.
- The icon properly shows up in the add/remove programs once again.
- Fixed the plugged alarm dialog to be large enough to display all of its text.
- The web links under Tools/Help now open their respective websites. [MC-30]
- The Calcium Chloride PDF is now included with the installation as intended.
- The file links under Tools/Help are no longer hard coded and now properly open on both 32-bit and 64-bit Windows. [MC-30]
- Fixed a broken image in the troubleshoot.htm file.
- Added working links to the PDFs for the MSDS sheets on 64-bit versions of Windows.
- Made the Auto Pump Strokes visible once again.
