We can use WISE's archive feature to move your well to your new computer.

For this example, the well we want to move is "FosterFarms 2".

1. On the old WISE computer, start WISE and go to Edit → Well Information.

2. Make sure your well name is correct. If you update the well name, please save your changes.

3. On the old WISE computer, restart WISE.

4. On the "New Well" or "Use Existing Well" screen, choose "New Well." Put "dummy well" as the new well name and let WISE load up. This step may take 1-10 minutes, depending on how long your job has been running.

5. Exit WISE.

6. On the old WISE computer go to the folder

a. → "C:\Program Files\The Mudlogging Company\W.I.S.E\cfg\snode\ArchivedWells"

7. Find the folder "FosterFarms 2" move it to the new computer by using a flash drive or a shared folder.

8. On the new wise computer, put the folder "FosterFarms2" in

a. → "C:\Program Files\The Mudlogging Company\W.I.S.E\cfg\snode\ArchivedWells"

9. When you start WISE on the new computer choose "Use Existing Well" and you should see "FosterFarms 2" as an option.
